About the event

Excited to announce we have been nominated for one of  the prestigious 60th annual Awards organised by Hammersmith Association. The  Green Project is nominated for the Jane Mercer Award for “ initiatives of benefit to Hammersmith which have involved proactive co-operation, collaboration and communication.”  Well done everyone!!!

We’ll learn if we are successful when the winners are announced at The Hammersmith Society’s  Awards Evening and AGM at Upper Latymer School in Kings Street W6 9LR on Wednesday 22 June from 6.30pm

The guest speaker is Nicholas Boys Smith, the founding Director of social enterprise Createstreets and the Create Streets Foundation, which exists to help create and steward beautiful and popular places of ‘gentle density’. He is chair of the advisory board of the Government’s ‘Office for Place’, known formerly as the ‘Building Better, Building Beautiful Commission’ which he also co-chaired.

There’ll be a reception with refreshments from 6.30pm followed by a 7pm start for the Awards presentation and AGM.

If you would to hear an interesting speaker and find out if we have been successful please let me know
